Officers

CU Sundays and house parties are run by a committee of experienced Old Paulines known as ‘officers’, all of whom have been on numerous house parties.

All of our leaders are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS – formerly CRB) checked, and undergo approved child-safeguarding training in order to follow all best practice. See our safeguarding page for further details.

Although our activities and house parties are fully endorsed by the school (the High Master and school chaplain often visit the summer house party and speak to the CU), the teaching staff have no role in running either CU Sundays or the house parties.

Some of our officers are responsible for a particular year group of boys – see the list on our Year Group Meetings page, where you’ll find their contact details.

CU Fridays and the events at school are organised by a separate committee made up of boys in their final year at school (the Upper Eighth). They’re known as ‘the committee’ and they are led by the ‘secretary’ who is also in the Upper Eighth form.
